Choreographer Sophie Vergères (CH) invites guest choreographers Marioenrico D’Angelo (IT) and Max Levy (USA/JP) to take a journey through the poems of Bernese writer Eva Maria Leuenberger. In valley, moor and ravine they come across disappeared bodies and sunken worlds. To the music of Philipp Rumsch (DE) they bring skin, bones and breaths back to light with their choreography. The result is a collaborative dance piece celebrating absence.

Why a Sharing?
Artists who spend a residency at the Dampfzentrale Bern have the option of a sharing. Sharings are public rehearsals where artists meet an interested audience. They offer the public an insight into the creative processes of artists. The artists in turn use the sharing to show interested people what they are currently working on and what keeps them busy in an uncomplicated setting. The Dampfzentrale team discusses the sharing with the artists in advance and then also moderates it.

Masks mandatory in the performance venue. Further information here.
