Summer evening atmosphere. The stage represents a garden where an elegant barbecue party is taking place. At the edge of the turmoil, a few guests stand around a bit lost with their champagne glasses; despite the festive getup, they behave strangely. In an elegant suit, a strange snail creature wars the stage space. An elegant woman sits ruminating on a garden chair and looks apathetically into the void. Who are these hybrid creatures? Are they human, animal, or both at once?

Why a Sharing?
Artists who spend a residency at the Dampfzentrale Bern have the option of a sharing. Sharings are public rehearsals where artists meet an interested audience. They offer the public an insight into the creative processes of artists. The artists in turn use the sharing to show interested people what they are currently working on and what keeps them busy in an uncomplicated setting. The Dampfzentrale team discusses the sharing with the artists in advance and then also moderates it.

Masks mandatory in the performance venue. Further information here.
