In the hybrid performance «Taking Care of God», the Swiss-Congolese music producer and performance artist Soraya Lutangu Bonaventure combines church music with club sounds, and spiritual rituals with popular choreography. Created in collaboration with Kingdom Gospel Club, a Congolese a cappella group, the piece is blending the dynamics of sacred and secular music, in order to engage in a conversation about the perception of spirituality as well as the search for trance through rhythms. «Taking Care of God» is a collective gesture affirming the beauty found in unity and cooperation, while exploring the individual trajectories of the performers.
