Rollstuhlfahrer*innen Audio description

An introduction and audio description of the performance «Precarious moves» will be available on 31 October for people with visual impairments.

The audio description provides blind and visually impaired people with access to the visual elements – action, costumes, settings, gestures, facial expressions, objects and other visually communicative elements – of a dance, theatre or live art performance.

The audio description is a live audio track spoken by a professional audio describer to visually impaired members of the audience through a wireless headset system.

Tactile tours are 20 to 30-minute live tours prior to the performance that allow visitors to experience the space, performers, costumes and objects as well as the key elements of movement within a production through touch and their own movement. Michael Turinsky accompanies the visitors on the tour.

Sprecherin: Isabelle Freymond www.isabellefreymond.ch
Author of the audio description: Bernd Kainz
