When people talk about Phuong-Dan, they are at the same time referring to his resident club Golden Pudel in Hamburg. They are also alluding to what is usually called the “selector”. When someone says Phuong-Dan, they are also talking about the essence of DJ-ing itself. Because that’s what the Hamburg-based performer does with heart and soul: making all possible facets of a DJ set comprehensible. Last but not least, this quality is why Phuong-Dan is currently an extremely popular DJ on a scene that deals in trance-endental house genres as well as broken-down, creeping, industrial techno music.
The night’s goings-on are also in the hands of Piet Møbler. With his series Shifted in Kraftfeld in Winterthur, he performs visionary club work, but above all Piet plays uncompromising, world-class DJ sets, which have even taken him across the border in the recent past. He has already made an unfailingly positive impression in Bern, when he played at the club series City Trance curated by COS, which has already played its way into the heart of the Bern club scene after running just a few nights.
And this same COS is the third member of the alliance behind this night: with plenty of dancefloor curiosity, she examines the music scene and leads to well-meaning annoyances in the club even outside her hometown: she is a welcome artist throughout Switzerland. As part of the Studio Mondial crew, COS also broadcasts her regular radio show over the airwaves on Radio Bollwerk.
