Three inclusive dance companies from Switzerland, Spain and Germany have created three dance pieces about remembering as part of an international cooperation.
“What do I remember? | What are my first memories? | What memories can I share with someone? | Are there memories that I keep to myself? | Are there memories that I have suppressed and buried? | Who do I talk to about my memories? | What do memories do to me?” (Esther Kunz)
Personal biographies, experiences and shreds of memory become part of your own body, condense into moving images and evoke their own associations. As “the memory is buzzing in every head” (Neele Buchholz) – but what exactly does it do to us, or what does it let us do?
