Video & live performance

«Landscapes» was originally planned as a live performance for 20 dancers. However, the lockdown in the spring of 2020 brought the rehearsals to an abrupt halt. To constructively continue the artistic work that the group had begun, the dancers were sent home with specific tasks by choreographer Gianna Grünig. Each and every dancer then individually recorded short choreography sequences which have now been edited together to create a video.

To celebrate the conclusion of the project, both the video and the live dance performances, accompanied by Dina Kehl on the viola da gamba, will now be shown.

ZHdK Stage Lab

unvorhersehbare Fähigkeiten (Unpredictable abilities)

The first ever Stage Lab – as part of the inclusive training module of BA Contemporary Dance of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in collaboration with the SNF research project «DisAbility on Stage» of the Institute for the Performing Arts and Film (ZHdK) – took place in 2017. Performers with disabilities and students of the ZHdK created a short piece together, which was subsequently performed as part of IntegrART. The third edition of Stage Lab in 2021 has appointed the renowned UK-based performer Annie Hanauer as its artistic director. Together with Annie, the ensemble goes in search of the implicit and explicit boundaries of what is considered normal.
