Dampfzentrale wants to be a place for everyone, or at least for many. As a learning organization, we are committed to making our programme accessible and as barrier-free as possible. In collaboration with an access expert, we have taken various measures for this year’s festival to enable people with different needs to access the festival program. We are trying to reduce other exclusion criteria such as language, age or financial barriers. All events taking place in the festival center are wheelchair accessible. There are various seating options.
In contrast to the Turbinensaal, Festival Center and Rathaus Bern, our studio is only accessible with difficulty for people in wheelchairs. Please contact us and we will try to find a solution.
There are no Relaxed Performances during Tanz in Bern. Dampfzentrale refrains from issuing so-called trigger warnings and strives to announce the program in a way that visitors to follow their needs. However, Dampfzentrale strives to write the texts for the program shown in such a way that visitors can assess what to expect.
