Such sharings offer insight into the creative processes of artists who are currently rehearsing at the Dampfzentrale Bern. They show what they are currently working on, what they are occupied with, and what is going on in an uncomplicated setting. Afterwards, the artists welcome discussion with their future audience. The Dampfzentrale Bern dramaturgical team moderates and supervises the sharings.
The style and language of the Company Idem are characterised by expressive movements, energy, and dynamics. The founders, Clément Bugnon and Matthias Kass, combine various contemporary dance styles and develop poetic, imaginative performances through dance, theatre, music, and acrobatics. In terms of content, the company devotes itself to existential themes without simplifying or neglecting their complexity. In the sharing, they put on excerpts of their new production “Three Ages”.
