How do you understand each other in a room with only movement and without speech? How does dance mediation work without spoken and sign language? The movo association addresses these questions in its movement workshop without grammatical language. Two dancers, one deaf and one hearing, share their joy of experimentation with the participants and explore sensory communication using artistic means.
movo
Movo is an association for performing arts with deaf and hearing people. It is committed to connecting two worlds, to promoting the sign language community in Switzerland and to experimental projects in dance and theatre. The workshop will be led by Maja Renn (performing artist and dance teacher) and Corina Arbenz Roth (art and design teacher, performer, mediator and special needs teacher).
