Violeta García, Tizia Zimmermann, Tapiwa Svosve, Steve Buchanan, Robert Meyer, Réka Csiszér, Miao Zhao, Markus Kenel, Junge Eko, Hora Lunga and Elischa Heller are WIRREN 2, are one body of sound. The music of WIRREN, which premiered at Gessenerallee in 2021 and subsequently took place at various venues in Switzerland, is now followed by WIRREN 2 – the world premiere of a new composition with selected performers whose characteristic style of playing forms an important part of the overall sound and has a decisive influence on it. WIRREN is a mixture of drone, noise, jazz and shoegaze. WIRREN is a mixture of drone, noise, jazz and shoegaze. Thus WIRREN becomes a body in space. Each instrument and its sound are part of the overall sound. The voices are not autonomous, but are to be understood as individual parts of a large connection. The audience moves freely.
In the wealth of sound sources and reflections, every detail is essential and yet simply part of the overall whole.
Before and after the concert there will be a DJ set by I-VYE.
