Under the name Colliding Fields, the two musicians, sound artists, and visual artists Till Hillbrecht and Florian Bürki explore the boundary between electronic experimental music and club music. Sound as materiality and sculpture, as well as the associated space, are elemental for their compositions. Musical structures become something to be experienced plastically; classical, frontal stage set-ups disappear, and in their place the space is democratically occupied with acoustic fields.
