As human as our very breath: pigeonholing, thinking in stereotypes and jumping to conclusions. Although these can be helpful in everyday life, these patterns of thought and behaviour lead to exclusion and hurt – often without us realising it.
In this workshop with Baba Academy, we’ll get to the root of the prejudices that shape us and look for ways to deal with them more consciously.
We’ll discuss current debates surrounding background, belonging and gender-inclusive language, and explore what thoughtful and respectful communication can look like in practice.
For anyone who’d like to take a look, in a safe and supportive environment, at where it hurts. For anyone who wants to do things differently. For anyone who wants to be human, simply human.
