A scenario of sounds in which dance, song, and music surrender to the dynamics of a whirling circle dance. Musical gems from European, South American, and Arabic regions flourish in new vocal interpretations by Flamencos en route. They whisk the dancers off into a musical rondo that calls forth delicate dialogues of dance and plays hand in hand with virtuoso dance and song forms from different epochs. Deeply sad melancholy is paired with cheerful exuberance in the scenic tableaux of Rondo Flamenco and explores the limits of flamenco art with plenty of verve and the subtlest nuances. The performance integrates dance variations by choreographer David Coria.
