The creators of this year’s festival centre are throwing a party! Following Mette Ingvartsen’s performance of ‘Delirious Night’, the festivities will continue at the festival centre with DJ sets curated by them, inviting everyone to dance the night away.
K1000
Representing Succulents Crew and Cie Corps&Graph, K1000 is known for breakdancing and DJing. K1000 discovered a passion for DJing because they wanted to bring more rappers from gender minorities to the fore. Funk, disco, jazz and hip-hop are their favourite music genres, so we can look forward to a varied vinyl set featuring a mix of classics and rarities. Groove is in the house!
Vlaud
Anyone who’s seen a Street Styles dance production at the theatre recently will probably have heard his music too! Vlaud is a music producer, breaker and DJ, representing Colour Jam, Remi Demi and Etoile Bizarre. Known for his sets, in which he complements tracks live with beats he’s produced himself, we’re delighted to have the chance to dance to one of these sets at the Dampfzentrale as well.
Twizzy SOW
Twizzy is a dancer and music producer with deep roots in hip-hop culture. He grew up in Zurich and is a member of the renowned Sons of Wind crew. Internationally, Twizzy can be found at all sorts of battles and events – on the dance floor, as a judge or behind the decks. At Dampfzentrale, he’ll be blessing our ears with a live-produced set. Bounce guaranteed!
