Where do our fears come from? How can we face them so as not to be completely at their mercy? And what has anger got to do with it?

As part of an experiment, we confront these emotional outbursts: With a tent and a sleeping bag in the woods, all alone in the dark world. It’s going to be a wild night, somewhere between fear and courage, shadow and light, dream and reality. An energy-packed dance performance about overcoming fear, risky adventures and new experiences that make children and young people strong.

Biography

In his third production for a young audience, German choreographer and director Joachim Schloemer “was not only responsible for the movements, but also…”?, but also for the light, music, sounds, text and video images. In addition to his work as director and curator, he is also a guest lecturer at Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB). The project was developed in collaboration with the Swiss dancer, actress and director Corinne Eckenstein, who was responsible for the dramaturgy.
