Dancers with painted faces wander through a world inspired by commedia dell’arte. They dance together or compete against each other. It is unclear and could just as easily be the opposite. A romantic dance characterised by fluid yet unconventional movements unfolds on stage. «Versa-vice» is about the mystical and the poetic, about togetherness and solitude. What we see could in fact always be the opposite. At first the dancers wander lonely, later seeking support and comfort from each other. Finally, the uplifting energy brings about relief, a shift, a hopeful future – or perhaps not?
