Welcome to our amusement park! The place for all those who carry not only unfinished to-dos, but also their heart’s desires. Yes, our ‘Happy End Universe’ is all about your very own happiness. You don’t even know yet what a happy ending means to you? Let yourself be whisked away on Ferris wheels, ghost trains and magic shows – our park guides will take you on a journey to your dreams and your own personal abilities. A wide variety of attractions await you in the ‘Happy End Universe’ – from dance and rap to a trip to the opera. But the main attraction with us is and remains you: The encounter with yourself and your encounters with other park tourists. And you know: giving makes you at least as happy as receiving. True to the principle of “everything can, nothing must”. Because tonight, you alone decide what a happy ending means (and maybe the universe a little too).
The Social Muscle Club format was developed by Jill Emerson and Till Rothmund (Berlin) and established in the international art context. They were inspired by their examination of the previously widespread social clubs in the English working-class milieu and the associated support structures. Social muscle clubs are now organised in a wide variety of cities, including Los Angeles, Cape Town, Marseille, Vienna and Zagreb. And now in Bern – be part of it!
