The nightlife is changing. Dealing with one’s own boundaries and those of others, zero tolerance for overstepping them, consensus and conscious consumption are actively addressed and tackled. However, awareness concepts are just as omnipresent as knockout drops and the chemical subjugation practised with them. So how safe are FLINTA people during a club night?
Mona-Lisa Kole talks to Aurelia Golowin, managing director of Taktvoll, and Sia Kohler, co-director of feministen, about the potential and limits of awareness measures and the role of men.
The discussion will be supplemented by two short expert contributions.
Agota Lavoyer, an expert on sexual violence and victim counselling, will introduce the concept of rape culture and talk about the fact that every woman is affected by sexual violence. Tamara Funiciello, National Councillor, will talk about political achievements and the gaps that still need to be closed.
