Sharings are public rehearsals that bring artists and interested audiences together. Such sharings offer insight into the creative processes of artists who are currently rehearsing at the Dampfzentrale Bern. They show what they are currently working on, what they are occupied with, and what is going on in an uncomplicated setting. Afterwards, the artists welcome discussion with their future audience. The Dampfzentrale Bern dramaturgical team moderates and supervises the sharings.

The dancer and choreographer Vera Stierli sees herself primarily as a movement researcher. Her research is inspired by the human body, as well as by somatic work and the abstraction, deconstruction, and transformation of movements. During her residence, she developed the solo “Blood Drive”, originally created as part of the Dampfzentrale Bern’s choreography platform “trial & error”, into the duet “Blood Drive Vol. 2” in collaboration with the choreographer Cindy Hammer. In addition to their research work, the two artists will hold a public panel on the extremes of female self-representation on social media.
