Cie Tamara Mancini (CludaCo) will give you an insight into the piece Loudest Silence on 19 June 2024 after 2 weeks of residency.
Loudest Silence is a full-length dance creation in co-production with TANZhAUS Bern and will be performed at Junge Bühne Bern from 13 to 15 September 2024. Bernese dancer and choreographer Tamara Mancini, together with 5 dancers, wants to show and thematise the endurance of silence and noise, mindfulness, non-verbal communication and the reference to club dance culture with an original, extravagant and at the same time sensual piece. She sees an importance in the reappraisal of ‘niche history’ of dance and subculture development and wants to make waacking and house dance heard with this piece (as one of the first Swiss performance pieces to deal with club culture).
