Sharings are public rehearsals that bring artists and interested audiences together. Such sharings offer insight into the creative processes of artists who are currently rehearsing at the Dampfzentrale Bern. They show what they are currently working on, what they are occupied with, and what is going on in an uncomplicated setting. Afterwards, the artists welcome discussion with their future audience. The Dampfzentrale Bern dramaturgical team moderates and supervises the sharings.
Éolienne is a contemporary dance collective consisting of Nora Werren, Lisa Lareida, Andreas Lareida, and Stefanie Olbort. To stage their emotionally suggestive worlds, Éolienne look for very specific places, which they garb with lighting design and original live music. Their dance narratives about being human are inspired by the world of the subconscious, dreams, and instincts. As part of their residence at the Dampfzentrale Bern, they will be showing excerpts from “#Syntheten” for a sharing; the piece itself will celebrate its premiere in March 2019.
