Sharings are public rehearsals that bring artists and interested audiences together. Such sharings offer insight into the creative processes of artists who are currently rehearsing at the Dampfzentrale Bern. They show what they are currently working on, what they are occupied with, and what is going on in an uncomplicated setting. Afterwards, the artists welcome discussion with their future audience. The Dampfzentrale Bern dramaturgical team moderates and supervises the sharings.

The signs of L’inconnu(e) are somewhere between infinity and an old mathematical problem: squaring the circle. The mathematical mystery leads to human mystery: how do we find the strength to get back on our feet and move forward? When in the midst of our fears and confusion, how can we mobilize our resources so that we can move on? How can we navigate our way through chaotic times? In the midst of our darkness, how can we still strive for the light? What keeps us going? Is it the hope for something better?

«Three languages assist us on our journey of uncertainty: Dance-to make the body sing.
Music-to make the heart speak.
Words-to make the mind dance.
Out of the darkness comes light. Little by little L’inconnu(e) reveals itself.»
