queen of luxuria aka Carron Little

queen of luxuria will utilize the city of Bern as her studio for this residency bringing traces of the actions back into the space of Dampfzentrale Bern. The question of truth and how this informs our perception of the world has been a theme in Carron’s work in recent times with the rise of misinformation. Jainist monks believed that there were seven perceptions of the truth to any given situation or event. We might experience this difference in perception when recalling our memories with a close family relative or a sibling. As part of this residency, queen of luxuria will engage the public in interactive experiences that question one’s own truth and the responses will be incorporated into the finale action in the city.

queen of luxuria aka Carron Little will be in residence at Dampfzentrale Bern from 30 June to 13. July.  On Friday, 11. July there will be a showing of «If I could understand a flower? a quote from Tennyson».
