A decade of community radio in Bern – and to understand the whole, it helps to take a detour through its parts, as with this anniversary club night:
Diamin, born in Chile and now, as a Berghain and Tresor DJ in Berlin, long since more than a welcome guest. At home in environmental science as well as in the club, she brings both together in the night.
Nina Hässig reaches us from Zurich, “up-and-coming”. You don’t just hear it said – you can hear it, too.
And then Alex Like, like Janus, a Radio Bollwerk resident since hour zero, originally to be found in the basement clubs of Yverdon or in the morning light of the forests above Neuchâtel. From there, he still sees far into our future. But he keeps quiet about it, laughs at most, and lets endlessly hypnotic worms run in circles.

Diamin
Sourced from Latin American basements or snatched from Europe’s most suburban warehouses, many of the records from Diamin’s collection didn’t yet get a proper chance to react with dancefloors. She trades in unrealized, potent dreams and highly reactive substances trapped in vinyl. Her interest in biology turns this experience into something organic & communal, a sort of world-building in real time, where every record is treated with curiosity and care – & it seems to work for dancers and radio shows alike.
Nina Hässig
Nina Hässig’s DJ ventures orbit around planets such as 90s and progressive house, acid, trance and UK Garage. She’s part of the DJ duo @the.real.gwl and is engaged in the Zürich based collective @beachclubunderground.
Alex Like
Alex Like is a DJ and producer based in Bern. Driven by his pure passion for electronic music, he dedicated the last two decades to the exploration of its different shades. With his hypnotic sound he knows how to drag his audience into everchanging atmospheres, shaped by spacey synths over a ground of organic percussions.
