It is well known that there is no better place to discuss, politicise and argue than at the dining table. Three female politicians cook for us while they think about how democracy and talking to each other is possible. We all enjoy the dinner together at a long table, where we continue our discussions across party lines.
In November, Tanz in Bern organises a dinner with local female politicians in Bern. How are they digesting the election results in the USA? How should a democracy be organised? And what do democratic promises such as equality for all or the opportunity for everyone to have a say look like in Switzerland? During the discussion, the three politicians from the left to centre of the party spectrum prepare vegetables for a meal together. Carrots and cabbage are the symbolic representation of a parliament: Flavour is only created together. But are there also ingredients that break it down?
