«Can this Barbie even write feminist literature?» asks author, filmmaker, columnist and self-proclaimed girlie Jovana Reisinger in her play «Enjoy Schatz». In her book «Pleasure», she examines how lust, pleasure and luxury intersect with misogyny, classism and exclusion. She, as someone who also likes to dress saucily (her own words), declares pleasure to be an aesthetic and ideological world revolution. Jovana Reisinger is pissed off – with both men and high culture. And while she incorporates herself into the high cultural canon, she wears iconic fashion and slurps oysters.
How the festival title «pleasurable» sounds when she says it, and her thoughts on the topic, is something neither aspiring girlies nor men will want to miss.
