Death is part of life – and yet it is difficult for us to talk about it.
How can we face finitude when it affects ourselves or those close to us? Together, we explore how we can give death a place without losing the joy of living.
This question connects to the performance “Gone Forever” by Theater Blau and Theater Sgaramusch, presented on 16, 17, 18, 22, and 23 November 2025 at Schlachthaus Theater.
Children and adults discuss and philosophize in separate groups. The children are guided by theatre educators, the adults by philosophers. Child–adult tandems—such as a child with a godparent, dad, grandma, or another companion—can then exchange thoughts on the way home or over dinner.
