But what can gestures, movements, and postures express that language cannot? Together, we explore how our bodies carry meaning, expand communication, and reveal their own truth.
This question connects to the performance «Le Grand Bal» by Compagnie Dyptik, presented on 8 March 2026 at Dampfzentrale.
Children and adults deal with big questions. They discuss and philosophise in separate groups. The children are guided by theatre teachers, the adults by philosophers. Tandems of children with mum, dad, grandma or another accompanying person can exchange ideas afterwards on the way home or over dinner.
«Philosophieren!» takes place alternately at Berner Generationenhaus, Dampfzentrale Bern or Schlachthaus Theater Bern. Each event lasts one hour.
