What image do we have of witches? What symbolism do they carry? What if the figure of the witch symbolises strength and courage? Together, we approach the archetype of the witch and its significance in today’s society – and consider what we can learn from it.
Children and adults deal with big questions. They discuss and philosophise in separate groups. The children are guided by theatre teachers, the adults by philosophers. Tandems of children with mum, dad, grandma or another accompanying person can exchange ideas afterwards on the way home or over dinner. And even without a child, it’s great to philosophize among adults.
The «Philosophieren!» event takes place alternately at the Berner Generationenhaus, the Dampfzentrale Bern or the Schlachthaustheater Bern. Each event lasts one hour.
