We won’t let the festive season stress us out and celebrate in a relaxed way: Nouveau Sauvage is a kind of safe space for critical partygoers who want to avoid the normative New Year’s Eve hype. All emotions are welcome here, with plenty of space for self-will and spontaneous exchange and expression, with performative acts as gentle as Snowflakes, a bar with an extended non-alcoholic offer, salty-sweet crêpes until late into the night, clothing tattoos, mini sauna, poetic prosecco fountain, artificial mountain with a view and a careness concept, true to the motto “leaving no one behind”! There will also be transformative DJ sets to dance to from wildcard DJs Flavah Nice (pre-rec), Lutra Lutra (pre-rec) and Ultravioleth, followed by a very live DJ LAB lasting several hours with MinReCuliao (Min Deng) and DJ Gërxhalita & friends until the first trains start running again. Booking is an advantage!

Nouveau Sauvage is an evolving format based on the practice of Wild Card dance training, which takes place weekly at Dampfzentrale Bern and Tanzhaus Zürich. The title also refers to a new understanding of the so-called ‘wild’, which rebels against predefined norms and latent consumer behaviour. On the other hand, the format is nourished by the artistic approach to communal celebration itself, as developed with students of the Propädeutikum Biel, and stands for a more fragile or sensitive generation, but invites everyone else to join in the collaborative celebration!
