James Dillon, the Composer in Residence at the Musikfestival Bern 2026, is writing a new large-scale work for the Ensemble Proton Bern and the Schola Heidelberg. As part of their rehearsal process, the ensembles are opening their doors to offer a glimpse into their collaborative development of the work. Following the listening session, a moderated discussion will provide background information and insights into the project; during the Apéro afterwards, we will have the opportunity to chat with the musicians and the composer.
