Management teams under fire, demands for social sustainability, #MeToo, feminist strike – a lot is happening in Swiss theatres. What can we do? What changes are needed to lead performing arts into the future? These questions are hotly debated up and down the country.
«M2ACT × BURNING ISSUES – Performing Arts & Action» is the first nationwide event to give a platform to these «burning issues». From 15 – 17 September 2023, m2act, the funding and network project of the Migros Culture Percentage for the performing arts, and BURNING ISSUES, the German grassroots movement for (gender) equality and diversity in the performing arts, in collaboration with IntegrART, Bühnen Bern, Dampfzentrale Bern and Schlachthaus Theater Bern are hosting a three-day networking event.
