«ABSENT BODIES» is an unrelenting and intimate theatre piece between a white male body and a female voice. The voice is a representation of the views of people of colour, critiquing the white body’s inherent entitlement and privileges, thereby stripping it of the power of its invisibility. The body on stage becomes the object of a black, rebellious, female gaze and confronts the audience members with their own patterns of perception, expectations and prejudices.
