lazy club is Dampfzentrale Berne's listening format, which takes place every third Sunday afternoon of the month in the foyer. The series aims to celebrate the collective listening of music in an informal, low-threshold and cosy setting. At each event, three people from the regional, national and occasionally international music scene (musicians, curators, journalists, concertgoers, DJs) are invited to play an hour of music. The DJ sets may cover as broad a musical spectrum as possible and should not necessarily serve a dancefloor context.

Further information to follow soon.

At lazy club, a piece from craquelling vessels will be played – a collaboration with ceramicist Ursula Vogel and sound modifier Yannik Sandhofer.

Jessica Jurassica

Jessica Jurassica by Mia Nägeli

Jessica Jurassica is a musician, artist, author and blogger. In 2020, her erotic fan fiction Die verbotenste Frucht im Bundeshaus about a fictional Federal Councillor appeared in almost all Swiss media and was warned by the Federal Chancellery. Her debut novel Das Ideal des Kaputten was published in 2021 and received several awards. She has released two albums with the Eurodance duo CAPSLOCK SUPERSTAR and writes about pop culture and socio-political topics on her blog Jessica Jurassica’s Lifestyle Blog. This autumn saw the publication of Jessica Jurassica’s second novel, Gaslicht, in which an experience of violence has turned the protagonist into a kind of seismograph: what happened echoes within her and demands to be recorded. And the louder the present, the louder her past, she realises when she becomes involved in Switzerland’s first major #MeToo scandal. To get to the bottom of the nature of trauma, Jessica Jurassica peels away layers of time and dissects patriarchal narratives.

Consuela del Valle Grande (aka Daniela Ruocco)

Consuela del Valle Grande arrives with feminist reggaeton, her own poetry «perreadora» in the sidecar.
The name is an alias of the multilingual and interdisciplinary artist, performer, author, director, musician (,…you name it!) named Daniela Ruocco – the shared music from the cosmos behind it.
Daniela Ruocco has presented two premieres («Piñata» and «EN MI IMPERIO PERREO SOLA») and many other performances at Dampfzentrale.
