nya aka nxyxa (fka Graue Kreide) and HAUSVRAU are both artists, DJs, part of the new collective of intransformation.space (fka Kapitel Bollwerk) and will be behind the decks together for the first time at lazy club. When DJing, nxyxa selects sounds by focusing on what resonates within and triggers emotional reactions. nxyxa moves freely through genres and explores these open sonic spaces for their potential to connect with a person’s emotional state. nxyxa does this in the bimonthly radio show Atlas on Radio Bollwerk, as a DJ in various club and listening settings or in the context of performances. As a multidisciplinary artist, HAUSVRAU combines painting, dance and an overall theater kid energy with her creative composition process, which includes DJing, soundscapes, drag, text, performance, live singing and installations as well as the political message of liberation for the communities she represents. In addition to many other activities as an organizer and activist, HAUSVRAU is also a well-known member of the ballroom scene in Switzerland as the Swiss patron of the House of Laveaux and as a member of the House of Saint Laurent.

alys am is an interdisciplinary sound artist and musician. Her practice integrates field recordings, interviews and electroacoustic elements, resulting in multi-layered works between documentation and performance. She lives in Lausanne and is co-founder of Loose Antenna (looseantenna.fm), a community radio project that connects, maps and shapes the music and activist scene in Lausanne. At lazy club, alys am invites you to listen to the different parts of her work – an exploration into the dark corners of sound through field recordings, experimental micro-compositions and a wide range of recorded music.

samsam aka Sami aka Lea aka Samira aka fr Bernath aka Benjamin aka a-kid. samsam sometimes sits at the cash desk at Dampfzentrale, sometimes she moves between Bern and Lausanne as a dancer, sometimes as a DJ in the duo a-kid keule and sometimes she organizes with Forcefield Records. At the lazy club, samsam wants to play with the songs that were thrown out for the party sets; with the rhythms that she stumbles across and that she loves. And with the memories she carries with her.

Eva Heller has been working as a producer, project manager and consultant for projects and institutions at the intersection of art, culture and society for what feels like an eternity, most recently as a project manager for transformation projects at the Fachstelle Kultur des Kantons Zürich. She is particularly interested in the politics of collaboration (both in the independent scene and in institutions). In addition to her professional activities (currently also as a temporary member of the Dampfzentrale team) and interests, Eva can always be found at concerts or various other cultural events. At the lazy club she makes her debut behind the decks and leads through the collection of accumulated favorite tracks.
