At night, you can see and hear strange figures. The concert by Ensemble VERTIGO from the Bern University of the Arts (HKB), conducted by Patrick Jüdt, puts three of these extremely rare figures in the spotlight of the Dampfzentrale Bern: the accordion, the lupophone, and the contrabass clarinet Clex, co-developed by the HKB. Outstanding students and lecturers from the HKB – Ernesto Molinari (Clex), Matthias Arter (lupophone), and Kalle Moberg (accordion) – will be performing as soloists in works by Artur Aksheylan, Aram Hovhannisyan, and Daniel Weissberg / Michael Harenberg. In the evening, the dreamlike figures and sounds are accompanied by a modern classic: Luigi Dallapiccola’s «Piccola musica notturna».
