Dubtopia at Dampfzentrale 2020, hope springs eternal. This (for once) non-international edition is anything but a stopgap solution: Timnah Sommerfeldt (Basel), a DJ with sufficient contradictions and rough edges to guarantee a fantastic sound system session, has a wealth of experience in all areas of electronic bass collages. Along with the Amenthia Crew, she is a key part of the backbone of the Elysia in Basel and can be found from time to time spinning the wax in Bern – but never before in a sound system context.
Pumping up the volume at Dampfzentrale will be the Justice Rivah Soundsystem & Iyah Ranks. Deeply connected to Dubtopia since the early days, Justice Rivah are very welcome guests in Bern, above all because of their selection but also because of their massive speaker stacks.
The session is led by Phrex and Cutkachi, the masterminds behind Dubtopia and guardians of the grail of Bern bass.
