Can hair dance? Choreographing hair creates an interesting tension, as we cannot move our hair directly at will: How can you control the uncontrollable? «Hairy» explores the boundary, the limit that both separates us from and connects us to what is physically outside of us. The choreography for four latex-clad dancers and their dramatically staged hair drives us to bang our heads and raises questions about our bodies and their autonomy.
