Modular Synthesis, Electronic Pulses, Ecstatic Intensity
The music of composer and musician Caterina Barbieri moves between electronic drones, analogue techno and minimalist pattern music. On her new album «Spirit Exit» she now also uses her voice for the first time.
Barbieri presented a full-length showcase at Saint Ghetto Festival in 2021 with numerous guest appearances by musicians from her label Light Years. Now, for the first time since 2017, she returns to Dampfzentrale as a solo artist. The visually overwhelming light concept for her performance will be provided by the Berlin light artist MFO.
