Ein zeitgenössisches Tanzsolo für ein vielfältiges Publikum
In his solo project, the Spanish-born dancer Helliot Baeza, who has been a member of Compagnie Danza Mobile since 2006, embarks on a scenic journey at the point where dance, theatre and performance meet, thereby focussing on the uniqueness of every human being. Based on his own biography, Helliot starts debates, builds bridges and asks what actually connects people, what makes them different and what divides them. At the same time, it is precisely the supposedly «other» that creates friction with prevailing concepts of so-called normality and leads to the question of what being a «good» contemporary dancer still means and what else he/she can be. In a disarmingly self-disclosing manner and through striking narrative styles, Helliot skilfully uses a wide range of expressive forms to create a universe in which all of humanity, as a mosaic of individual stories, is shown, in a world where no judgement is made.
