Shuttle to the audience discussion or to «Proxemics» (both at the Zentrum Markus) on 25.5. after the performance.

And the next question is: In what year did this happen? How many were there? Did anyone survive or did no one survive? People like to ask questions. We almost have to ask. And even more we like to be the ones who can give the right answers. «Fun Fact» is a celebration of knowledge and logical thinking. We are sailing on the ocean of facts, blowing wind into the sails of deduction and avoiding the cliffs of errors. The right answer must be found before time runs out!
This is the first collaboration between two theatre groups from Estonia and Slovenia. Based on the Estonian tradition of meeting in a community centre for a quiz, they explore historical events that connect them. Or rather: that connect us all. And we realise: small dramas are forgotten. It’s the big dramas that we remember. But only if they are big enough to leave us room for speculation.

Following the performance of «Fun Fact» on 25 May, there will be a discussion with the artists at 22:00 in the Zentrum Markus.

Katarina Stegnar, Primož Bezjak and Branko Jordan are among the best-known actors in Slovenia. Together they perform under the name Beton Ltd. This is their first collaboration with Estonian theatre makers Mart Kangro, Juhan Ulfsak and Eero Epner, who are already well known in Bern. The three were in the auawirleben programme in 2022 with It Stays As It Is and in 2019 with Workshop.

Easy Read

In this piece is a little bit like a quiz. It’s about how people remember big events that happened in the world.
