To the third I Wanna Be a Superstar-tape by CRTTR – a collective with a home base in Bern, which ventures into all Experimental-Drone-Ambient-Noise-Club territories and rethinks traditional spaces and cultural concepts with a wide variety of events. Each member of the collective invited a friend for the compilation – and made a rule: you have 3 minutes of tape (and not a second more) in which to do whatever you want, record it, send it to us and we’ll edit it all into a single tape. And now that everything is finished with all the loose ends, with all the song and track and experiment fragments: you hear 50 minutes of music full of flickering beauty, full of harrowing noises (yes, especially emotional), full of closeness in unrosy times. The names of the creators are on the tracklist, but you can make it easier: the CRTTR artists and friends are all superstars from here, from there, from further afield. All clear?
