The first time Anna von Hausswolff visited Dampfzentrale back in 2013, she was still an unknown artist. Since then, she has really made a name for herself, supporting Nick Cave on tour and playing at the Nobel Prize Ceremony in her native Sweden. Usually on the road with a band, she has devoted her current solo programme to her favourite instrument, the church organ. Her unique European tour sees her perform in 17 churches, including the Heiliggeistkirche in Bern. The concert will additionally feature a complex loudspeaker system (the Akusmonium, invented by the French composer Françoise Bayle in 1974).
